Quipol – Easily create and embed social polls that are very easy to use and very good looking
Transcribe – free online tool that makes it much easier to transcribe an audio – type and listen in the same place and keyboard shortcuts let you slow the audio down and skip around.
SocialBro – Great piece of software that allows you analyze and manage your Twitter following, including the best times to Tweet when your following are on Twitter.

Get Smart Content – application allows you to set rules such as – visited our website four times or from California and show different content based on visitors.
InboxQ – ask this service a question and it will quickly show you the best people on Twitter to answer it. You can also show off your knowledge by answering questions.

Experiment.ly – helps you measure and improve the performance of any online ad campaign – including pay-per-click, organic search, social media, CPA, and more.
Code Year – cool initiative from Code Academy that helps you learn valuable programming skills for free. Sign up on Code Year to get a new interactive programming lesson sent to you each week.
What do you love – this little tool from Google allows you to create a search and then have all the various elements such as YouTube videos, books, trends, patents, and images related to the search put on a kind of dashboard page. It’s clearly a tool the show off all of Google’s various related tools, but it’s still somewhat interesting.

Hubspot’s Marketing Grader – Hubspot has gotten very good at creating these free grader tools and this one goes deep into your Web site and gives you a view of how well your site holds up in key marketing metrics.
MOG – new free streaming music like Pandora or Spotify, but I’m finding better library for the kind of music I listen to (particularly old jazz) and better sound quality.
Strutta – Tool that makes it very easy to launch promotions and contests on Facebook or your own site. I’ve participated in several contests using this tool and the interface is great.

SENDtoREADER – nice little tool that makes it very easy for your to clip web pages or RSS feeds and send them to your Kindle.
Marketing Charts – Awesome charts and data for marketing in Excel and Powerpoint format – great for presentations and blog post illustrations.

PressIt – Social media news release tool. Nice free way to distribute press releases that get picked up on social sites.
The Email Game – Somewhat goofy little email management tool that helps put the emphasis on better email productivity and getting to an empty inbox in the shortest amount of time. (Blame @chrisbrogan for this one)
Twitcleaner – free Twitter tool that allows you to analyze your Twitter following for spammers, bots, and other producing little or no value and then unfollow them.

10 Best TEDTalks of 2011 – Read Write Web breaks down the year’s best from TED – watching these is one of the best ways I know to become a better speaker.
Mockingbird – Very cool online tool that makes it very each to mock stuff up and share it with people. Great tool for web designers just trying to share wireframes.
Typeverything – I’m intrigued with type and this site is little more than a collection of images of type used in every imaginable way.

Good stuff I found this week:
iWriter – Inexpensive content for your website. This isn’t for everyone, but some folks challenged by the task of writing lots of content might find a match with a writer or two here.
Womply – A new take on loyalty type programs. Womply does all the work by taking the loyalty program to a credit or debit card. Merchants create their program and then it’s all tracked through card purchases. Should be easier for both the merchant and the customer.
WORKetc – Nice looking platform that combines CRM, Project Management and Billing. This tools offers a one-stop approach for many of the things that business need to do. With the right implementation it could be very powerful – uses GMail and Google Apps too!

Tout – This app helps you template, analyze and schedule business email. Integrates with lots of 3rd party mail and CRM tools.
Sent – This is the tool I use to replace Google’s not so ready for prime time iPhone app. Much better handling and viewing of email.
Up by Jawbone – This company is making some cool stuff (Love the Jambox
wireless speaker) – Up is a wristband that tracks your activity, sleep patters and eating habits with the help of an iPhone. Healthier living a key to business success.
